Ambyon

Founded in Eindhoven 2023, Ambyon develops the new generation of mobile robots that drive throughout the whole hospital, including elevators, to bring and retrieve good like: medication, lab samples, small medical equipment and nutrition. The Ambyon ONE robots use novel AI-enhanced technology that is heavily inspired on human cognition concepts. By using 3D stereoscopic vision, our robots truly understand the surrounding world in context, anticipating on sudden changes, and understanding and predicting the intention of humans. At the same time, the Ambyon ONE robots communicate their intention to the people around the robot. In contrast to our competitions, this unique Human-Robotics Interaction technology leads to a quick adoption, and acceptance (!) and trust by the healthcare professionals.
